Creative Director Alicia Redmon

Introduction

Hello! I'm Alicia Redmond, a Creative Director and Brand Strategist who helps women entrepreneurs, coaches, and authors bring their visions to life through strategic branding and thoughtfully designed identity-driven websites. I also work with women in their second act who are ready to reposition, relaunch, or reinvent their next chapter. My approach blends strategy, storytelling, and artistry to help women and brands create meaningful, lasting impressions. Beyond branding, I'm also a filmmaker and writer. I'm currently developing Willows, a period limited series, and crafting fiction that combines warmth, intrigue, and heart. Across all my work—whether guiding brands, directing projects, or writing stories—my goal is the same: to connect with people through imagery and story.

Actually, I began my journey in graphic design while working for a ministry in Atlanta. I started with newsletters and flyers and eventually moved on to designing CD covers—yeah, that’s how long it’s been! After about three years, the founder turned to me and said, “You know, you’re good at this. You should start a business.” And I’ve been designing in some capacity ever since.

Motivation

I was motivated to take my business to the next level through coaching and working with women. So many of us treat our God-given gifts like “hobbies,” when in reality, those gifts can create a financial pathway and transform your life. I’m not only an advocate for financial freedom—I’m passionate about helping women experience fulfillment, joy, and live out their purpose!

What motivates you to continue…

Right now, my biggest motivators are my young nieces, ages 9 and 5. I want to be an example for them and show that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. More importantly, I hope they seek a relationship with God and embrace their destiny. Fortunately, their parents are already doing a wonderful job encouraging them along the way.

My journey…

My journey has been full of hills and valleys. As a creative, I realized early on that a traditional 9-to-5 job was never going to be a long-term fit for me. I had to learn how my experiences were shaping me, guiding me toward my purpose, and teaching me valuable lessons along the way. Although I’ve generally been a shy person, most of my 9-to-5 roles were “face forward,” pushing me out of my comfort zone and teaching me how to work directly with people. From property management to being a flight attendant, each experience helped shape who I am today. They gave me confidence to extend myself and step out of my comfort zone. Over the years, I’ve become more solid in knowing who I am, who I’m called to serve, and what that looks like for me today.

In addition, my journey helped me discover that my calling wasn’t just about creativity—it was also about leadership and using my voice to inspire, guide, and empower others. Every experience I’ve had—whether in a traditional job, running my own business, or leading a creative team on set—has taught me the importance of clarity, empathy, and vision. As a film director and producer, these lessons have helped me become a stronger, more effective leader, able to bring out the best in the people I work with and create a collaborative environment where creativity can thrive. I’ve learned that leadership isn’t just about giving direction—it’s about listening, mentoring, and helping others discover their own strengths, which has become a core part of how I approach both my work and my purpose.

Alicia’s Advice

I’ll say this: what’s in you never leaves. Whatever you were created to do stays with you for the rest of your life. I encourage you to find the time—and, if necessary, the courage—to seek it out, pursue it, and live it fully.
